Surrendering to what is

Our minds like to make up stories. Stories of what could have been, stories of what could be. Stories of inadequacy and stories of failure. How often do you pause to simply focus on your breath? How often do you pause to simply focus on what you are seeing, hearing, feeling - in that exact moment?

Think about this for a minute. How are you feeling? What are you hearing? Take a few deep breaths. Where did your mind begin to go? How did it make you feel? Take a few more deep breaths. Let it all go.

Breathe in, So.

Breathe out, Hum.

Breathe in, I am.

Breathe out, That.

So hum.

I am open.

I am present.

I am abundant.

I am grounded.

I am peace.

I am love.

I am enough.

I am that. I am that. I am. So hum.

For me, yoga and getting in the flow of creating things helps to bring about this surrendering to the present moment and letting go of all else. What brings you peace? Joy? Wholeness?
